Yes, costs of the primary healthcare provided for newborn babies after
delivery are covered, whether the mother is an employee or a dependent. Such
costs are considered among the delivery expenses such as the newborn’s treatment
(treatment of a particular disease, surgical intervention, ... etc.). The premature
babies are also covered by the mother’s policy and the maximum coverage per
policy is (S.R. 500,000).
