The Council of Health Insurance has launched the second edition of the “CHI Excellence Award 2023" to motivate the sector to continue enhancing the quality and efficiency of services provided to beneficiaries, as well as promoting sustainability.
Through launching the Excellence Award, the CHI aims to create an environment that supports and encourages innovation, fosters competitiveness among entities to provide the best services to beneficiaries, as well as recognizes the outstanding performers among public entities based on the highest standards of quality and innovation. Additionally, the award aims to promote innovation and encourage and support development in the private health insurance sector.
The CHI has identified several competition categories based on specific themes within the framework of its strategy and continuous efforts to be a leading regulatory authority that empowers beneficiaries through a sector that can be incentivized by quality, efficiency, and digital transformation.
The CHI provides organizations and individuals with the opportunity to participate and nominate themselves for the Excellence Award, which is based on five strategic themes that focus on enabled sector, beneficiary centric, value-based healthcare driven sector, digital excellence, and population healthcare.
Dr. Nasser Aljehani, the CHI's official spokesman and Executive Director of Empowerment and Supervision, emphasized that the launch of the second edition of the Excellence Award is an extension of efforts to stimulate the sector and enhance quality and efficiency in order to provide the best services to beneficiaries in the easiest way possible. He also emphasized the importance of achieving digital transformation through the creation of innovative technological solutions that facilitate transactions, which will have a positive impact on the health insurance sector.
Aljehani also explained that they have witnessed many positive results after the first edition of the CHI's Excellence Award, and they aim to double these results and continue working to enhance sustainability and encourage organizations and individuals in the health insurance sector to offer their best services to beneficiaries with the highest levels of quality and efficiency in the new edition.
