The Council of Health Insurance sponsors the Value in Health Conference to be held from 11 to 12 Dec. 2023 in Hilton Riyadh Hotel.
The Value in Health Conference, held under the slogan of ( HERE AND NOW | ACCELERATING TRANSFORMATION TO A HIGH-VALUE HEALTH SECTOR IN SAUDI ARABIA), is the first insightful of a network consisting of seven national organizations. Moreover, it aims to improve the Saudi health system quality, enhance the spending efficiency, contain costs, and ensure the best target for investments; as this network includes (the Ministry of Health, Council of Health Insurance, Public Health Authority, National Health Insurance Center, Saudi Health Council, Saudi Commission for Health Specialties and C Value in Health).
Value in Health Conference highlights the knowledge and skills required to transform the current health system into a better one by focusing on the appropriate methods, decisions and steps stakeholders shall provide to accelerate the transition to wise health.
Furthermore, the Value in Health Conference includes an arrangement of more than 7 dialogue sessions involving more than 21 national and international speakers, in addition to holding 5 specialized workshops in Value in Health for contributing to drawing an effective roadmap for a full health system that can be followed to comprehensively apply the concept of wise health.
For his part, the Council of Health Insurance spokesman, Nasser Aljehani, the Executive Director of Enablement and Supervision, emphasized the importance of sponsoring the Value in Health Conference, in addition to his role as a member of the network to contribute to unifying the visions and harmonizing and joining all efforts in order to achieve the common goal of transition to Value in health by studying the appropriate methods, decisions and steps stakeholders shall provide to accelerate the transition, as well as studying the urgent need for improving how to assess, monitor and respond to the measurement of value health in the health sector.
Aljehani also indicated that the Conference is going to be held for the first time in Saudi Arabia, witnessing the participation of senior policymakers and experts responsible for the insightful of the healthcare sector. It is held to contribute to acquiring the knowledge and skills required to transform the current health system into a better one.
