Under the Patronage of H.E. Minister of Health, Mr. Fahd bin Abdulrahman Al-Jalajel, the Council of Health Insurance (CHI) honored the winners of the Council of Health Insurance Excellence Award in 2022 on Sunday, 11 December, 2022 in the presence of H.E. Vice Minister for Planning and Development Eng. Abdulaziz bin Hamad Al-Rumaih, in conjunction with CHI's Excellence Forum, which is currently being held in Riyadh on Sunday and Monday.
CHI has announced the winners of the Excellence Award in its various tracks, within the framework of its strategy and its constant endeavor to be a leading regulator to empower beneficiaries through an empowered sector that is motivated by quality and efficiency and applies digital transformation.
H.E. Vice Minister for Planning and Development Eng. Abdulaziz Al-Rumaih and CHI Secretary General Dr. Shabab bin Saad Al-Ghamdi, honored the winners of the Excellence Award, as the winners list results in the Health Insurance Companies Track revealed the Tawuniya Insurance Company winning the Best Health Insurance Company and the Best Initiative of the Year Awards, and Bupa Arabia winning the Best Customer Service Award.
With regard to the Insurance Transactions Award on “Nphies" platform for Health Insurance Companies, Mediterranean and Gulf Cooperative Insurance and Reinsurance Company (MEDGULF) won the first place, Saudi Arabian Cooperative Insurance Company (SAICO) came in the second place, AXA Cooperative Company in third place, Bupa Arabia in the fourth place, and the Cooperative Insurance Company in fifth place.
Mr. Tal Hisham Nazer of Bupa Arabia has won the CEO of the Year Award for Health Insurance Companies, while the Young Achiever of the Year Award was granted to Mr. Wafi Al-Balawi of MEDGULF.
As for the winners in the Healthcare Providers Track, Mouwasat Medical Services Company won the Healthcare Service Provider of the Year Award, and the winners in the Best Customer Service Award from Healthcare Providers Track are the International Medical Center, Dallah Hospitals, Almoosa Specialist Hospital, Dr. Sulaiman Al-Habib Medical Group, and Saudi German Health.
With regard to the Insurance Transactions Award on Nphies Platform for Health Insurance Companies, Dr. Sulaiman Al-Habib Medical Group won the first place, followed by Al- Hayat National Hospitals in the second place, Magrabi Eye Center in Alhassa in third place, Specialized Medical Center in the fourth place, and Almoosa Specialist Hospital in fifth place. Meanwhile, Saudi German Hospital in Riyadh was awarded the Best Initiative of the Year Award.
Mr. Malik Almoosa of Almoosa Specialist Hospital has won the CEO of the Year Award for health care providers, while the Young Achiever of the Year Award was granted to Mr. Mohamed Jaid Alam of International Medical Center.
As for the Claims Management Companies Track, GlobeMed Saudi won the Best Claims Management Company of the Year Award.
Meanwhile, Dr. Nasser Al-Jehani, CHI Official Spokesman and Executive Director of Enablement and Supervision, congratulated the winners of CHI's Excellence Award, wishing success to those who were not fortunate.
Dr. Al-Jehani stressed that CHI is working on stimulating the sector to provide the best services with high quality and efficiency as well as continuous improvement, which will reflect positively on the beneficiaries to receive their full rights of healthcare and protection.
