In the presence of the secretary general of The Council of Health Insurance, Dr. Shabab Al-Ghamdi, "CHI" celebrated nphies for completing 100 million insurance transactions since its inception. It is the direct result of a unified integrated digital vision to improve the beneficiaries' experience. Furthermore, nphies recorded other accomplishments that had a significant impact on speeding up transactions between insurers and health-care providers and facilitating beneficiaries' access to insurance services in the Kingdom. The most significant of these services is achieving a maximum of 5 seconds to inquire about the insured's eligibility for treatment with the service provider and reaching 82% for insurance company's response to the insurance approvals within a maximum of 30 minutes.
Since inception, nphies' team has worked continuously with the health sector through workshops, field visits, and training sessions to identify the most recent technical and operational challenges and find appropriate solutions to ensure the platform's pace of work. To facilitate communication, more than 147 ambassadors of the nphies platform in the sector are constantly communicated with. In addition, more than 300 technical and operational currency workshops were held, as well as more than 120 training sessions with all sector facilities and field visits to more than 11 cities and governorates throughout the Kingdom. These visits included many workshops with the sector, as the nphies team is eager to equip the platform with the latest technologies and launches on an ongoing basis, in collaboration with the sector's facilities, to ensure facilitating and raising the quality of performance of the facilities in the platform.

Faisal Al-Shammari, Executive Director of Technology and Digital Transformation, emphasized the CHI's eagerness to promote digital transformation in the health sector as part of its ongoing efforts to provide the best services in terms of quality and efficiency through an integrated and unified digital vision. He added, "We announce that nphies platform has reached 100 million insurance transactions, as a result of the efforts made by all the teams working on the platform project in order to build a digital future for the health sector in the Kingdom."
The platform recorded great achievements that had a great impact on the advancement of health care and a qualitative shift in the health insurance sector in the Kingdom. Many goals were met during the three stages of preparation and rehabilitation in nphies. During the first phase, 127 health service providers and more than 25 insurance companies joined nphies, accounting for 65% of the sector's market share, followed by 83 health service providers in the second phase, accounting for 85% of the sector's market share. In early 2023, CHI announced the launch of the third phase of the nphies, which will target more than 200 health service providers in order to capture 90% of the sector's market share.
