The Council of Health Insurance and the General Organization for Social Insurance have signed a cooperation agreement for the exchange of data.

On Tuesday, 19 October 2021, The Council of Health Insurance and the General Organization for Social Insurance signed a cooperation agreement at the council’s headquarters to exchange data in order to reach a viable sector motivated by quality and digital transformation.

This Convention is part of the strengthening of the obligation in social and health insurance through the preservation of the rights of the beneficiary and provides the tools to facilitate dealings, thus contributing to enabling the parties to the insurance relationship to obtain their rights from full care and protection of high quality and efficiency.

In their collaboration through the Convention, the Council and the General Organization for Social Insurance seek to strengthen the services and products provided by using innovative digital solutions in accordance with specific disciplines and mechanisms to achieve strategic objectives, which have a positive impact on the sector.

For his part, the Governor of the General Organization for Social Insurance, His Excellency Mohammed bin Talal Al-Nahas, has confirmed that the Institute is keen to ensure that beneficiaries' rights are obtained through the signing of a cooperation agreement with the Health Insurance Board. He explained that this type of partnership promotes the convergence of different sectors to achieve the Kingdom's Vision 2030.

H.E Alanhas explained that the Convention covered several aspects, primarily the exchange of data, which contributed to shortening time, and conduct your business easily.


In turn, the Health Insurance Secretary General Dr. Shabab Saad Alghamdi, commented that the agreement between the Board and the General Organization for Social Insurance was a strategic partnership that promotes quality and efficiency through a sector that can achieve digital transformation.
 
In addition, he stressed that exchanging data contributes to the empowerment of the social and health insurance sector to provide the best quality services easily, within a record time.
