Does the policy cover psychological cases?

The CCHI policy covers treatment of acute psychological cases with a maximum amount of 15 thousand riyals. Such cases are defined as a disturbance in thinking, mood, cognition, memory or (part of all) mental capacity. This deformity may be severe if it caused an imbalance in any two of the following functions:

  1. Judgment (in terms of good or bad, rather than right or wrong. This relates to how decisions are made).
  2. Human behavior.
  3. The ability to distinguish reality.
  4. Cope with the demands of normal life.
